I've been asked the current status of my health. Facts are I've been pronounced lymphoma free as of this past September, remarkable when seventy percent of my marrow was lymphoma in April, only six months earlier. It took several months past September for my body to get back to full strength but today, I truly am restored. Praise be to God.
My hair has come back in. It's thicker, soft and curly like baby's hair, the color, a little darker. Dang, I look good. Thank you again, Lord. And the chemotherapy got rid of all my warts and weird places on my body, even cured my hernia. Well to tell you the truth, I don't know whether it was the chemo or all the prayers of people. I know this. I received from the hand of G0d. All was from the hand of God and all was and is a blessing.
And thanks have to go to Dr. Rachel Kruspe, a recent graduate of UAB who practices out of the Cancer Center on Governors Drive right on the other side of Huntsville Hospital. Dr. Kruspe is mighty special to me and I recommend her to anyone.
I'd like all to know that during the time of my sickness God's Holy Spirit often reminded me of God's healing at work. Spirit comforted me, was always with me, still is. I was reminded often of the prayers of others. I'm still made aware of such prayer. I am touched and forever grateful.
And Margaret, my wife of 54 years this May. what a trooper Margaret was and continues to be. People so often show their best, are their best during times of trial. Boy, I was and I am blessed to have the love and help of Margaret.
So here's where I am today. I am restored, eager to be of service to God and to my fellowman. Mistakes, I've made em all my life and will be surprised were I to be through, but may future mistakes be in efforts to serve as opposed to lack of effort. I'm so grateful to be given back strength and in effect life and the desire to serve.
God's love, God's power, God's mercy and grace to all.

Wow, I'm praising the Lord that you are healthy again, Mack!
ReplyDeleteI must agree, dang, you DO look good! Quite handsome in fact! I hope to meet your sweet wife one of these days soon...I'm sure she is an angel because you are truly a happy man.
My husband passed his DOT physical, praise the Lord, so he is coming for me and we will run to my petsitting jobs, then we are off to the DL office for his Alabama license.
Then if God wills it, he will be able to go to work soon!
Blessings and love in this, the day the Lord has made! Thanks for sharing and for the sweet gift of your CD - I can't wait to get home, plug in and listen!!
What a great joy to meet you; the Holy Spirit truly lights your countenance!
Oh, my music is online as "Martha DeWolfe" (maiden name) on iTunes and CDBaby. I recommend Mama Look, Take Good Care of My Heart, and River of Tears. I also have some of my Christian music on ReverbNation as "Remedy Cure for What Ails Ya", it's a demo version and you can listen FREE to all the songs on the CD. My favorite is "Broken on the Tree".
Love to my Brother in Christ!
